Strider Sport 12 Balance Bike
$129.99
Strider’s Sport 12 is a lightweight, pedal-less balance bike that allows your child to straddle the bike with both feet on the ground and easily propel the bike by walking or running. This nimble steel bike lets your little one focus on the fundamentals of balancing, leaning, and steering without the distractions and complications of pedals or training wheels. The maintenance-free ultra-light wheels feature industrial foam tires so you’ll never have to worry about a flat. The built-in footrest with grip tape allows toddlers to easily glide with their feet up. The adjustable-height seatpost and handlebar let this bike grow with your kiddo. Plus, the Sport 12 comes with a second extra-long seatpost for even more range!
Linus Lil' Roadster (16-inch)
$309.99
The Linus Lil' Roadster is a bike any kid would be proud of. The thin-tubed steel frame has tons of retro cool and a comfortable fit. Sturdy aluminum rims and fast, grippy tires make this bike ideal for exploring neighborhood parks right by your side. Training wheels inspire confidence and stability, and they help your young rider learn the ropes while an easy-to-use coaster brake keeps things under control. Plus, it comes with great-looking metal fenders and chainguard to help keep clothes clean, as well as its own bell!
Jamis Starlite
$299.99
Every Jamis youth bike uses size-specific items like grips, saddles and cranks that enhance comfort and control by providing the best possible bike fit. We focus on designing frames with low stand-overs to take much of the awkwardness out of getting on board and dismounting after. We trim as much weight as we can with lightweight aluminum frames on many of the youth models and use aluminum parts where possible (the limiting factor here is working within a youth-bike-appropriate price point) to work towards that make-it-as-light-as-possible goal.
Jamis Laser 1.6
The Jamis Laser's mini MX-Moto design offers plenty of standover clearance for young riders and a head-turning, two-tone paint finish that will be the talk of the neighborhood. The over-sized blades and leading axle dropout of the Laser fork assure it will be up to the task of getting there and back safely. The Laser's full-length and full ring-wrap chainguard keep clothes and legs cleanly and safely out of the way of the chain. Every 16-inch Laser offers stabilizing training wheels to assist the young rider in learning how to pedal, steer, and balance a bike for the first time. The training wheel support struts attach securely both to the rear hub axle and the frame itself so that the training wheels don’t rotate out of plane with the rear wheel, preventing tips or spills.
