Kona Catalog

At Kona, we're all about the freedom and empowerment of the bicycle. We have been since 1988. We still have the same founding owners. We're still populated by a staff of keen, active, impassioned cyclists. We're not big, nor are we that small. Just a dedicated group of cyclists making bicycles for people who love bikes-no matter if that love is new or long established.

Kona Process 153 29
It’s nice having that one bike you can just grab and go with no worries about how it will handle on the climb or descent. We’ve built the Process 153 29 to be affordable while simultaneously handling everything you can throw at it, so you can spend more time having fun and no time worrying about your gear. Our lightweight aluminum frame features 160mm of front travel via a RockShox Yari RC Motion Control DebonAir fork, and 153mm of rear travel is provided by a Deluxe Select Plus shock. We’ve upgraded the drivetrain to a SRAM SX 12-speed, as well as high-powered Guide T 4-piston brakes, ensuring excellent modulation on the trickiest of terrain. - Kona 6061 Aluminum Butted frame - RockShox Yari RC Motion Control DebonAir 160mm fork - RockShox Deluxe Select Plus rear shock - SRAM NX/SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain - WTB ST i29 TCS 29" rims on Formula Boost hubs - Trans-X dropper seatpost
Kona Big Honzo DL
Kona’s Big Honzo DL takes the playful, slack geometry Honzo uses to light up singletrack, and ups the ante with bigger rubber and bigger fun. With 27.5 x 2.8 Maxxis Rekon tires wrapped around WTB’s Scraper rims, your footprint opens up like a sled-dog’s paw, aggressively clawing earth and floating over terrain with ease. Kona really wants you to use ALL that extra traction, so they hook you up with a stiff, nimble aluminum frame that squeezes speed out of descents and begs to be swooped through corners. A RockShox Revelation fork makes short work of technical sections and plows through chunky trails with 120mm of go-fast travel, so you can rip through the gears of your 11-speed SRAM NX/GX drivetrain. And, while we know you love to go fast, everyone eventually has to scrub some speed to nail a line. Take heart, Shimano’s got your back with a pair of burly hydraulic disc brakes that’ll slow you down in a hurry, especially with all that grip. Add the solid control offered by Kona’s durable cockpit parts with a work-and-play dropper post, and you’ve got a rig that’ll keep you grinning for hours on end.
Kona Super Jake Frame
Straight to the races with this one. An all new full carbon frame and fork with flat mount disc brakes, thru-axles front and rear, and fender mounts is the foundation for this year’s Jake series. Whether your sights are set on the ‘cross podium or the all day gravel epic, the Super Jake will get you there.
Kona Unit Frame & Fork
You are an artist, and the Unit is your canvas. Singlespeed singletrack machine? Yep. Loaded up for a quick overnight or an extended bikepacking trip? Yep. Add whatever drivetrain you like? Yep. Reynolds 520 chromoly gives that unmistakable smooth ride, and the simplicity of a single speed drivetrain keeps your options open. Five sets of bottle cage mounts and rear rack mounts give you plenty of options for accessorizing your ride, because Kona wants you to do things your way — and there's nothing cooler than that.

The legendary Jake the Snake features race-driven geometry in a tough, yet light aluminum frame and a full carbon flat mount disc fork, and is accompanied by tubeless ready wheels wrapped with Maxxis All Terrane tires, a SRAM Apex 1x11 drivetrain, and TRP hydraulic disc brakes. - Kona Race Light 6061 Aluminum Butted frame - Kona Full Carbon Flat mount CX Race Disc fork - SRAM Apex 1x11 drivetrain - TRP HY/RD C brakes - WTB ST i19 TCS 700c wheels - Maxxis All Terrane EXO TR DUAL 700 x 33c tires

Kona Process 153 CR/DL 27.5
You want a bike that goes up efficiently and still descends like an animal. One that you don’t have to worry about flipping switches on just to continue your ride. Evolved from its predecessor’s highly-regarded descending characteristics, the all new carbon Process 153 is stiff, smooth, and an absolute rocket. SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain and Guide RSC brakes, a RockShox Lyrik RCT3 fork, and Super Deluxe RCT shock, and tubeless-ready 3C Maxxis Minions leave nothing to be desired. Except another lap, of course.
Kona Rove DL
The Rove became an instant classic in the Kona line as soon as it was introduced. Whether it was commuting or gravel racing or whatever you can imagine in-between, what people have done with the Rove has carved a niche. The versatility comes from a combination of relaxed road frame geometry and clearance for wide tires. Throw on the included full-coverage fenders, add a rack and some bottle cages, and you've got more transportation capability and fun in a bike than you do in that hunk of motorized steel in your driveway. The future of road cycling is here — where are you?
Kona Process 153 AL/DL 29
You asked for it, and you got it. A 29-inch-wheeled Process that leaves nothing to be desired going uphill or down. This heavy hitter gets a SRAM Eagle 1x12 drivetrain, RockShox Yari fork and Deluxe RT shock, and a Reverb dropper post. Throw in tubeless-ready 3C Maxxis Minions and WTB Asym i29 TCS rims, and the Process 153 AL/DL 29 is shred-ready right out of the box.
Kona Wo
Dirt, sand, or snow. Trail riding, backroad exploring, or simply keeping the pedals turning all winter. With a Kona 6061 aluminum frame, the Wo is designed to fit the largest tires available to enable your wildest ideas. 4.8-inch Schwalbe Jumbo Jims keep this rig afloat, and the Shimano 1x10 drivetrain gives you simple, dependable shifting in unkindly conditions. Add confident speed control thanks to Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and you can count on Wo to get you there, wherever that may be.
Kona Explosif
When all you want is dirt, rocks, and a trustworthy rig that likes to get into trouble, Explosif fits the bill. This updated Kona classic comes to you as a 27.5-inch wheel, trail-scorching machine, spec’d to tear it up on singletrack. The Reynolds Cromoly frame features sliding thru-axle dropouts and a tapered headtube, so you get the ride quality and longevity steel is known for with the modern designs that let you do more. A RockShox Revelation RC fork devours whatever you throw it at, letting you blast through rocky stretches and swoop through rutted corners while the Maxxis tires bite earth like a pit bull. Wide WTB i29 rims shape that rubber up to work its best, and SRAM Guide R brakes take full advantage of that dialed traction, letting you brake later with modulation and confidence-boosting power. SRAM's GX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain delivers a tight system with the range and precision to keep the stoke factor high. And, Kona makes sure you have the control to handle all that go-fast hardware with their own purpose-built cockpit components. The result is a trail-blasting stick of dynamite and you’re the match.
Kona Hei Hei CR/DL
You can’t wait to get to the weekend, so the recon done on after-work rides can turn into all-day epics. The Hei Hei CR/DL is your ticket to long days spent putting distance and elevation behind you. Its carbon frame and RockShox Monarch RL shock give you 100mm of rear travel, while a 120mm-travel RockShox Reba RL fork floats across rock gardens. The wide, lightweight 29-inch WTB wheels fly up climbs and optimize the traction of the Maxxis Ardent and Ikon tires so you can fly through the flow and grip with confidence in loose corners. SRAM GX Eagle serves up 12 nicely spaced speeds with outstanding 1x chain retention. SRAM also provides hydraulic brakes that deliver the well-modulated braking you need to carry more speed more of the time. With the stiff 35mm Kona controls and a Rockshox Reverb dropper post, you'll blow right past your buddy's fastest Strava time.
Kona Kahuna
Take your skills to the next level on Kona’s Kahuna. Its lightweight, butted aluminum frame has the stiffness you need to get your power to the rear wheel and carve up the trails while you’re at it. RockShox takes care of the suspension detail with a 100mm of travel up front, keeping you and the bike tracking true. Trusted contact with the trail is key for mountain bike fun, and WTB wheels with Schwalbe tires are as reputable a pair as you’ll find, holding up to abuse and digging in when it counts. If you’ve been thinking about going to a single ring setup, look no further, as Kahuna features SRAM’s NX 1x11-speed drivetrain for an ideal range with simple, exact operation. A pair of tenacious Shimano hydraulic brakes makes short work of speed control, and lets you precisely slow your roll for maximum control on fast, fun trails. After all, fun is what Kona is all about.

Kona Rove NRB
The Rove NRB is the evolution of the bike that was doing gravel before it became a buzzword. An all new frame and fork with thru-axles and flat mount disc brakes combine with the legendary Kona ride to make a modern drop bar bike that pushes the limits once again. WTB Horizon tires made Road Plus a household name with a 47mm width and supple ride quality. Paired to WTB Asym i23 rims, you've got an unbeatable tubeless-compatible wheel system built to handle everything from long days on rough roads to light singletrack. Shimano Tiagra makes crisp shifts through the 20-speed drivetrain, while TRP Spyre C brakes leave nothing to be desired with confident stopping power. The Rove NRB is a distinctly Kona take on the modern all-day road bike.
Kona Rove LTD
The Rove LTD is the pinnacle of Kona's expanded Rove lineup.
