Kona Catalog

At Kona, we're all about the freedom and empowerment of the bicycle. We have been since 1988. We still have the same founding owners. We're still populated by a staff of keen, active, impassioned cyclists. We're not big, nor are we that small. Just a dedicated group of cyclists making bicycles for people who love bikes-no matter if that love is new or long established.

Kona Big Dew
Kona's Big Dew is the fun-loving commuter that isn’t afraid to get dirty on the weekends. With the confidence-inspiring Kona ride and big 700x50c tires, the Big Dew feels at home just about anywhere you can imagine, from the jaunt to the grocery store to the woodland adventure. It also boasts a 27-speed Shimano drivetrain for easy climbing, as well as fast-rolling aluminum wheels with multi-surface Schwalbe tires that can handle pavement and dirt roads with equal aplomb.
Kona Big Honzo
Kona’s Big Honzo takes the playful, slack geometry Honzo uses to light up singletrack, and ups the ante with bigger rubber and bigger fun. With 27.5 x 2.8 Maxxis Rekon tires wrapped around WTB’s Scraper rims, your footprint opens up like a sled-dog’s paw, aggressively clawing earth and floating over terrain with ease. Kona really wants you to use ALL that extra traction, so they hook you up with a stiff, nimble aluminum frame that squeezes speed out of descents and begs to be swooped through corners. A RockShox Recon Silver fork plows through chunky trails with 120mm of go-fast travel, so you can rip through the gears of your 11-speed SRAM NX drivetrain. And, while we know you love to go fast, everyone eventually has to scrub some speed to nail a line. Take heart, Shimano’s got your back with a pair of burly hydraulic disc brakes that’ll slow you down in a hurry, especially with all that grip. Add the solid control offered by Kona’s durable cockpit parts with a work-and-play dropper post, and you’ve got a rig that’ll keep you grinning for hours on end.
Kona Big Honzo CR

Kona Big Honzo DL
Kona’s Big Honzo DL takes the playful, slack geometry Honzo uses to light up singletrack, and ups the ante with bigger rubber and bigger fun. A RockShox Revelation fork makes short work of technical sections and plows through chunky trails with 120mm of go-fast travel, so you can rip through the gears of your 11-speed SRAM NX/GX drivetrain.
Kona Big Honzo DL Frame
Kona’s Big Honzo DL Frame takes the playful, slack geometry Honzo uses to light up singletrack, and ups the ante with room for bigger rubber and bigger fun. When you throw on a pair of 27.5+ tires on wide rims, your footprint opens up like a sled-dog’s paw, aggressively clawing earth and floating over terrain with ease. Kona really wants you to use ALL that extra traction, so Big Honzo is stiff and nimble, squeezing speed out of descents and begging to be swooped through corners. It uses 148 x 12mm Boost spacing and super-short chainstays to tuck in your rear wheel for tight handling and rowdy acceleration, while the long reach and front center get you into a powerful position for aggressive descending. This all adds up to a frame that's ready to go fast on the way up AND down. Throw on a 120mm fork and take proper advantage of the internal dropper post routing to find yourself on a rig that’ll keep you grinning for hours on end.

Kona Big Kahuna
How do you take a race-ready cross-country machine and make it into the bike you ride everyday? Kona shows us how with their Big Kahuna, a svelte, race-ready aluminum hardtail with plus-sized 27.5 x 2.8-inch Schwalbes to grab handfuls of traction and float over gnarly terrain. That all-important rubber is well-supported by a pair of 40mm-wide WTB Scraper rims which are light enough to make their formidable strength seem impossible. All this rolling stock gets moving thanks to drivetrain components from Shimano and RaceFace, married in a 2x10-speed system with go-anywhere range. And, Shimano’s hydraulic disc brakes give you braking abilities that’ll make you contemplate equipping the bike with a seatbelt. Defy traditional bike boundaries and see what you can do on a Big Kahuna.
Kona Cinder Cone
Kona’s Cinder Cone has long worn the badge of a performance-oriented, get-on-and-go hardtail, evolving year after year to stay on the cutting edge of technology. Its latest incarnation is built around an aluminum frame that delivers explosive response, great handling, and incredibly low weight. A RockShox fork eats up chunky trails to keep you on track, while the quick handling 27.5-inch Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires ensures you can carve whatever line you care to dream up. SRAM gets your wheels rolling with their sweet-shifting NX 1x11-speed drivetrain, and Shimano’s hydraulic disc brakes give you fingertip modulation to reverse the speed needle just in time to nail that switchback. To maximize your smile factor, Kona’s cockpit parts look good and feel even better, keeping the weight down and the control firmly in your hands.
