Details
Built for tackling everything from Enduro World Cup courses to fast and flowy shuttle runs, the Pivot Firebird compromises nothing in your search for all-mountain versatility. 170mm of front and rear suspension travel lets you confidently blaze through washed-out rock gardens, and the combination of long reach, long front center, and short chainstays provide the high-speed, playful agility we're all after in a long-travel bike. What really sets this bike apart, though, is the pedaling efficiency offered by the dw-link rear suspension design. Pedaling such a leggy machine can seem daunting, but the Firebird's geometry and efficient suspension platform urge you to climb higher to score maximum reward. The Firebird Team XTR Di2 1x build gives you the technological advantage of Shimano's XTR Di2 1x11 drivetrain to deliver race-winning shifting no matter where or how you ride. Shimano XTR Trail brakes supply ridiculous braking power, while Industry Nine hubs laced to Reynolds Enduro Carbon rims, all wrapped in wide, toothy Maxxis Minions leave nothing to be desired in the strength and traction departments. Fox suspension components precisely complement the Firebird's character with a 36 Factory fork and Float X2 Factory shock, while a Fox Transfer dropper seatpost wraps up this clean build that's ready to shred your favorite jump line, park run, or enduro race straight off the showroom floor.
Electronic drivetrain systems deliver excellent shifting, easy set up, and solid battery life. Here are some benefits of electronic shifting that you don't want to miss.

Shifting Performance
Electronic shifting systems use powerful servo motors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with surgical precision and without chain rub.

Customization
Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.

Dependability
Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you'll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.
